North Bennington Highlights

Consisting of 112 acres, with 164 buildings, including two sites considered worthy of the National Register, North Bennington consists mostly of the historical part of the town of Bennington. Built in 1865, The Park McCullough Historic House, a STUNNING 35-room Victorian mansion, is considered to be the best preserved property in New England. If time allows, you will definitely want to visit this magnificent part of history. It is breathtaking! This sweet little village cuts across the Bennington College campus. A private, liberal arts school, which claims to be the first college to include a visual and performing arts curriculum, it is a hidden jewel among Vermont’s beautiful mountains. North Bennington is also home to several manufacturing companies which manufacture snowshoes, clothes hangers, camera cases and sterling gun drills. There is a lot going on in this precious little town. Come and see for yourself.
