Brookline Highlights
Brookline is a close knit, friendly, and welcoming community. Quiet neighborhoods that take pride in their history, many of which their ancestors were defined by natural resources made from wood and water. For the people enjoying the great outdoors, Cider Mill Trail is a two mile hiking and walking trail loop to enjoy. Andres Institute of Art, now occupies a portion of land that once was a ski area in town. It features over 80 metal and stone sculptures made by artists from all over the world. Talbot Taylor Wildlife Sanctuary makes its home here and is a 90-acre man-made pond and dam maintained by the conservation commission and local residents to provide a safe place for birds, amphibians, reptiles and mammals. Come and sit quietly on the shore of this undisturbed pond and enjoy the wildlife that you will encounter. Don’t forget to take a walk through the Brookline Nissitissit Covered Bridge, a small and adorable covered footbridge!! So much to see in this beautiful town.
