East Kingston Highlights
This charming little town was settled in 1738 and is located in the heart of southern New Hampshire and the sea coast area. The PowWow River was the water power needed for their grist and saw mills many years ago. Ice cutting on the river was also an income maker during the winter months. PowWow Pond, a 285 acre body of water, has its outlet in East Kingston. A boat ramp can be found here. Many horse farms, along with luscious farm stands, are a common sight during the summer as you drive through this small bedroom town. East Kingston is committed to preserving its rural character and environment by conservation means. Stop by and enjoy!
