Hooksett Highlights
Located between Manchester and Concord, Hooksett was incorporated as a township in 1768. It is without a real town center (which is quite unusual for a New England town). The library offers many free family programs. There are playgrounds, ball fields and two great walking trails. Many hotels and motels, a movie theater, a winery, a huge variety of eateries, a tap house, breakfast and German fare, a pizza shop...the list goes on and on. The iconic Robie’s Country Store, built in 1887, with its iconic boomtown facade, as well as its welcoming and informative staff, makes its home in Hooksett. Frequent stops are made here by presidential candidates during the NH primary. The walls are covered with presidential memorabilia dating back to the 1950s.
