Once an important railroad junction and a clay reserve in 1840, Epping is home to the first commercial brickyard. Rockingham Recreation Rail Trail, an 18 mile trail with beautiful wetlands and quiet forest, awaits your enjoyment. Two raceways are in Epping for your excitement, as well as live theater (Leddy Center), festivals and great restaurants. The PHANTOM GOURMET television show visited the Railpenny Tavern in 2020 which won the best of NH Breweries!
