Learn more about Greenland

Home to The Great Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, which is open year round and features trails, gardens, marshes, and forests, Greenland is located just south of Portsmouth. It prides itself on its volunteerism dedicated to preserving its rural environment. Many Atlantic Bird Flyways, workshops and educational programs are located here, all meant to protect and educate the public about the land and the water in the Great Bay watershed of New Hampshire. The Weeks House, thought to be one of the oldest brick houses still standing in New Hampshire, is something you won’t want to miss. Hiking trails and many acres of conservation land also await your visit.
