Learn more about Hebron

This very small, closely knit community is located on the northern end of Newfound Lake and is considered “a beautiful natural environment.” Located in the heart of the town is the Historic District, which comprises 13 important buildings. It presents eight houses, one store, a school, a church, a chapel, a grange hall and a cemetery. Hebron Town Beach, with its small sandy beach, picnic tables and a great wooded area to hike and explore, will peak your interest to see what you might find. An adorable gazebo on the town common is the location for summer evening concerts. A Sculptured Rocks Natural Area is located four minutes out of a town. It is a narrow canyon, carved out by the river thousands of years ago. A spectacular rock formation shows what the power of water can do. Hebron Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary, with its 34 acres, 1.5 miles of hiking trails, open fields, a marsh, wildlife and forested habitats are breathtaking. Horse and buggy rides, fireworks and BBQs (during warm weather) are waiting for you to make wonderful memories.
