Pondicherry Wildlife Refuge (owned and managed by the U.S. Fish and WIldlife Service) is one of the “Crown Jewels” of NH landscapes, highlighting a wide ‘variety of significant ecological features.’ A marker, regarding the Cherry Mountain Slide, dated 1885, tells about a landslide/avalanche that demolished a farm, spared the family and . . . you will need to find out the rest! Muddy Paw Sled Kennel — a year round family friendly location with dog sledding adventures awaits a great day. All proceeds help defray the expenses for the 70+ canine athletes that “call this place home.”
