Learn more about Lisbon
As you enter the quaint little town of Lisbon, a grand historic hotel will catch your eye. Located at the southern end of the business district is the Lisbon Inn. Built in 1901, with its three story wooden frame and Queen Anne-style roof turrets at the corners, you will be in awe of this magnificent sight. This inn is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. “Where everybody knows everybody” is the slogan here. The Historical Society maintains a collection of materials illustrating the indigenous, artistic and cultural history as well as its heritage through ongoing events and exhibits. Ross Hill, a family friendly campground, Bishop Farm, a restored NE farm venue for numerous events, North Country Climbing, an indoor and outdoor rock climbing center — all wait for your enjoyment. Plenty of places to swim and tracks of land for outdoor recreation. Fall flea markets, Memorial Day Lilac Festival, craft fairs (during the warmer weather) and winter activities will bring fond memories as you ‘take in’ this little town.
