Learn more about Nashua

Nashua was once called Nashuway by the Native Americans meaning “beautiful stream with a pebbled bottom.” Having the second largest population in northern NE, a thriving downtown (which has been named twice by MONEY magazine as the “Best Place to Live in America”), rich history, natural beauty and a diverse population, Nashua is the place to be. Mine Falls Park and Nashua River Rail Trail are surrounded by trees and offer trails for biking, running and leisurely walks. Visions of nineteenth century buildings decorate this revitalized textile mill town with numerous restaurants, four colleges, gorgeous churches and so much more. A NH Holocaust Memorial stands proudly here as you wander Nashua. Greeley Park, with its rich green lawns, picnic areas, playground and a stage for entertainment, is waiting to welcome you.
