Two covered bridges adorn Newport. Corbin Covered Bridge (1845) and Pier Covered Bridge (1871), both with a long history of their existence, still stand proudly. Great dining and warm/cozy lodging are waiting to take care of your needs. Sullivan County Superior Court, which once served as a school/grange hall and then became a courthouse, is now a restaurant. In 2004, it became the home of The Old Court House, a destination for creative dishes, all served from locally-sourced ingredients. Whatever you are looking to do or see, Newport will have it.
