Newton

Located on the NH/MA border and considered a suburb of Boston, Newton is a lovely, quiet community. Many years ago it was a place for ice, shoe and carriage industries, all of which have become small commercial businesses and light industry. Artifacts of the history of Newton can be found at the Marshall House Museum. You won’t want to miss it. So much history to be found here. You can find great public trails for hiking and walking, beautiful ponds, crisp/cold rivers and gorgeous wooded areas, all within close proximity to the mountains and the ocean. Newton might be small but you will find some great things here.
